Case Study: Consulting Firm – Consultation Portfolios at a Keystroke
Client A leading Philadelphia-based management consulting firm
Problem/Situation
When going out on sales calls or project consultations, the Client’s staff needed to take with them a variety of client- or project-specific information from corporate headquarters. The staff spent valuable hours assembling each portfolio themselves, cutting into their productivity and the Client’s revenue.

Results
It is was clear that the Client needed to institute centralized, company-wide access to the information its sales staff and consultants required. Our solution was to build a server-based portal that ran on their existing technology -- IBM's Lotus Notes and Domino. This portal offered the staff numerous menu choices for finding and selecting the desired information, then sending it to a specific printer. The process was streamlined and practically effortless.
Benefits
The centralized, shared access to information improved the staff’s efficiency in preparing for sales calls and projects, allowing them to get what they needed quickly and move on. This in turn maximized the time staff could put towards bringing in new clients and earning revenue. |
